A tip of a butterflies wing transformed into many different sculptural pieces

Day 4; Today we had a two hour block each on the manikins designing a wide variety of three dimensional pieces. I focused on the butterfly wing only and kept multiplying the shapes and building them up in different ways. I really enjoyed this process. Manipulating the paper can lead to so many different structures being produced.. Surprisingly i made a large Lillie flower shape. Amazed by the freedom i was getting in my designs i have gained  many ideas for my sketchbook. Also today my designs were in a  larger scale and i was building height i hadn't experimented with this before and was delighted with the results. Following are the photos i took step by step. I hope u enjoy viewing them as much as i did making them!.
